The International Readers of Homer is a literary arts organization dedicated to great poetry read aloud by any person who wishes to do so. Our audience-participation readings of the Iliad and the Odyssey bring the classics alive as we all share the joy and power of hearing and performing the great epics in community.
Our message is always one of peace as we learn in the poems about courage, compassion, humanity, and the tragic cost of war.
